I think the idea serve and servant are connected but still different. If we serve we can be servants to the people but i think the idea of being a servant is the idea of a being a slave to God. It is our mandate to go out and do what we are doing as servants to God.

The questions i hope this gives me more insight on is What does is really mean to be a follower of Christ?

More of What is value? or what should we value? sometimes we think that we need something when really we dont need it and just miss that idea. Im still not quite sure what i am hearing from God.

I strongly agree with the 12th point saying that we should not go back saying oo yeah i did this and that for those people im so great, but we should rather spend time with the people there studying and learning more and encouraging their ideas.
I also strongly agree with the last point thats discusses humility. We should be humble and be servants not only to God but the people we are with.
Honestly I don't any point that i can say i disagree with.
Our individual and team preparation could be characterized by how we humble ourselves and becomes servants of God and the people we are with.

What surprises me? was the racist part, something that we dont look to very often. We will discover our true racists side.
How can we talk about things happening in the world if we have not personally expierenced or bee amongst them.

The outcome that I strongly agree with is the one stating, The world is hungry for Jesus, and there are many ways we can be Jesus to the world. I think that this means we can be like Jesus. We can live by his example. Yes, we can go on mission trips and be like him by doing something extraordinary, but we can also do something small that Jesus would have done. By what we do we can fill the world with their hunger for Jesus. Its important to Christian lives because they need to live the example daily do big or small things.
I hope to provide participants with many opportunitie to share their faith. (This is objectives) I hope for this because what is the use of going somewhere and having no effect on a person so they don't share their faith like you did with them.
Provide participants with exposure to current mission strategies would be another objective because we want them to know what each of us goes through for their cause and also for their own personal experience in life if they are even presented with a situation in which they are to go on a mission trip.
I would hope to give participants a job of assisting a missionary, one because it would be helpful to the missions cause and its for their own personal experience.

In honesty, i really what to see a change for a long time and everlasting time in the church in Peru. Instead of just seeing a weekly change, make it a long lasting thing. I want that for myself on a personal level. I have never been on a mission before. I have ideas of what i may expect on a mission trip like this. I can imagine it to be like going on a normal trip just doing a lot of things. My main hope in this trip to experience something and change someones life.

I want to first explain my disagreement with the point of the 6-8 week change and then back to normal.... I believe that is true. But i dont think it is because they are not prepared necesarily. It is because they dont have a dedication to God to actually do his work as a daily process instead of a yearly thing. Something that is a habit. Something that they do in their own country.

I strongly agree with the 2nd point. It talks about doing something here before somewhere else. I think what we should do is simple. Take out time to do things in our vicinity like we would take time to do it elsewhere. We plan so much for trips that change a couple lives as opposed to doing something here and changing more lives in less time and being able to spend more time with them on a regular basis.

I completely agree with the first point. If we dont act the way we want others to act we will never get anything done. Nothing will ever change and nobody will ever be a true God following, dedicated christian. There will never be a example of how to live life in Jesus footsteps in our society today.

There is one point that is very true. Talking about interpreting the bible in our own personal context rather than its original context. We sometimes stretch the reality and elaborate our own ideas to things that have nothing to do with the moral or basic idea of the text. I think we should take more time to really look into what we are reading and read within the context rather than what we want it to mean to make us happy.
